This heavy duty knob is perfect where ever you need a knob with 1/2” - 13 UNC threads (1/2” coarse). The main body of the knob is made of glass reinforced nylon. The female thread is a zinc plated steel insert. At 2-5/8” across, there’s lots to grip when tight is what you are looking for.
Use this knob on bench top accessory vises, carving screws and similar work holding fixtures where 1/2” bolts or threaded rod is used.
This knob has been used by the manufacturers of aftermarket table saw fences including:
