When we started this business in 1985, originally operating under the name Steve's Shop, our goal was to bring the special hardware and wood parts, those used by furniture manufacturers and professional crafters, available to the public.  The cabinetmaker I had worked for, and in fact anyone I knew tinkering at woodworking and crafts, had a hard time finding certain items.  If they did find them, the cost and often the quantity they had to buy was ridiculous.

Several years and a few catalogues later, we ship woodworking and wooden craft related supplies all over North America.  Our store in Embro, Ontario, Canada has become a destination for supply seekers.  Now, with the explosive growth of the internet, we are working to make this on-line catalogue everything you want it to be.  Special offers, clearance specials, new product releases and more will make this site a place to return to often.  It will never stop changing.
