Here is a rare
and practical piece. The word "trundle" means a small wheel, and
that is exactly what the lower bed has -- small wooden wheels. This
project is ideal for use in any bedroom since it is a space saver. The
joinery is accomplished with keyed and pegged tenons as used by early craftsmen.
The overall height is 39-1/2". Width and length are 42"
and 83-1/8" respectively. The plans detail only a twin size, but for
the advanced or intermediate it could be easily expanded.
This is a beginner or intermediate level project.
