This is a handy fitting allowing you to add dust collection where it hasn't been before. I've used it over a table mounted router, on the side of my Sears band saw and on a special cutting fixture for making our pocket plugs.

Just fasten in place with a few screws and you're in business. The outside diameter is 2-1/2" and accepts all 2-1/2" hose. There is one special feature of this fitting that most are unaware of. The inside diameter is 2-1/4". The popular 2-1/4" shop vacuum hose fits in the end perfectly allowing you to connect a shop vacuum to it.
