This hose end adapter threads into our clear PVC hose and the shallow threads work perfectly with a wire hose clamp to securely keep it in place even under strong pulling load. The smooth end of this fitting fits the internal diameter of all straight 4" black fittings which is perfect for coupling directly to large hoods behind lathes or radial saws or connecting to the internal end of a 4" Y fitting.
