Bench top jointer dust collection can be improved on your Delta, Porter Cable and Steel City machines. These machines were shipped with a shop vacuum size fitting but for best dust collection efficiency, you need a full 4” connection.
By popular request, we have produced this fitting using heavy sheet steel construction, welded seams and topped with a durable powder coated finish.

A special feature of this hood is the ability to fasten it onto your machine in an upward or downward sweeping direction. The upward direction allows the machine to rest on any large flat surface where the dust collection hose cannot fall below the surface. The downward direction is used when the machine has been mounted on a stand or positioned at the edge of the bench so the hood can fall below the bench top surface. Either position offers top-notch dust collection.
