Scroll Saw Police & Rescue Patterns - 89 Basic Designs for Creating Commemorative Plaques
by Mike and Vicky Lewis

Policemen and Policewomen, Fire Crews and Ambulance Teams all play an important role in our society. Now you can show these men and women how much their services are appreciated by creating a hand-made, personalized plaque just for them. Each pattern is drawn in crisp, black lines to make scrolling easy.

The patterns are designed to be "mixed and matched" to create a variety of plaques.

Start with a central pattern for police, fire or EMS, then add a name or division on the outside ring. An alphabet wheel and additional patterns for each of the 50 states make the combinations endless.

When your pattern is complete, simply transfer it to the wood of your choice and cut it out. Basic cutting instructions help you choose wood and show you how to use spacers to give your finished plaque a three-dimensional look.

Includes... 9 Rescue Designs, 17 Star Designs, 12 Shield Designs, 50 State Seals plus Helpful Hints.

Mike Lewis, an Army Veteran, has been perfecting his scroll saw techniques since 1987. What started as a hobby for Mike has now become a very rewarding career, progressing from basic scroll work projects to recreating his own designs and teaching.
Vicky began scrolling in 1998 to help Mike. This quickly became a passion for her. Cutting almost daily, she quickly realized their scroll saw could be used not only to cut elegant Victorian scroll work, but also to cut the many wood items and personal designs that are displayed in their shop.
