These are full 1-1/4" diameter (Regulation Size) with a domed side and enamel finish.

We've been asked if our discs are "professional". To make this claim, they would need to have an approval from an official gaming body. We have never approached anyone at this level but we can say that many thousands of our discs have found themselves in professional tournaments where there is much more on the line than just winning the game.

We can tell you a couple things about our discs. They are made exclusively for us by one of the oldest and best turning companies. We specify they use the best hard maple for their manufacture because hard maple is the best wood for this type of playing piece.

Each clear piece is finished with a coat of lacquer and each black piece is finished with 4 - 6 coats of paint to attain the hard finish necessary for a crokinole piece and then they are finally coated with carnauba wax for a hard and very slippery shine.
