This rack will hold a very large amount of material and can be sorted in sizes so that l am not contiually searching. Out of the 25 spindles ordered only one had tear-out problems which is easily fixeable, so as far as quality goes I am more than happy with your standards, I guess this one just slipped through final inspection? This is my first purchase but rest assured it will not be my last.
I am fully equipped in my shop for spindle turning including a good duplication set-up, but at your prices and quality it really would not make any business sense to make them in-house.

Yes as far as bearing they were fine bolts, well that was another story. The old ones caused problems as threads from getting them out of the press fit into the old bearings. So, I used the supplied bolts but need to take 3mm off each bolt head as to clear the blind hole bottom in rocker. Once this was done the next challenge was to hold the bolt shaft to allow tightening of nut (this was fun).
All is complete and I once again I have a happy wife and Mother-in-law so I can now relax in the chair and have a cold bevy. |
