I used a couple of lower priced brands until I needed a large 3" forstner bit that they do not carry. I ordered this large forstner bit from you. | I have been remiss in not sending this note sooner and I do apologize. In early April, I purchased a magnetic power switch (#16097) at your store. This was an upgrade, both for safety and ease of use, to the OEM contact switch on my General Int'l Contractor's Saw. It took a bit of fenagaling (sic) to make an enclosure for it but wiring it to the saw was straight forward. It worked a treat from the first use and I look forward to years of service from the switch.

Yes as far as bearing they were fine bolts, well that was another story. The old ones caused problems as threads from getting them out of the press fit into the old bearings. So, I used the supplied bolts but need to take 3mm off each bolt head as to clear the blind hole bottom in rocker. Once this was done the next challenge was to hold the bolt shaft to allow tightening of nut (this was fun).
All is complete and I once again I have a happy wife and Mother-in-law so I can now relax in the chair and have a cold bevy. |
