Basswood Block (Second) 3" x 4"x 6" Nominal
A light-colored, medium-density wood favored for carving, basswood is easy to work, with straight grain and a fine, even texture that takes and holds detail well.
These blocks are second-grade basswood, kiln dried, then milled to nominal dimensions and planed smooth on all faces.
Nominal sizes mean 4" could be from 3-5/8" up to full 4". 3"=2-5/8" up to full 3" and so on. Lengths are cut to size.
