When setting up dust collection for machines with 2-1/2" and smaller dust pick-up points, a 2-1/2" piping system is perfect and it doesn't use up the shop space of a 4" system.
The 2-1/2" clear tube shown here allows you to find blockages when they occur and it connects together easily with our #13096 coupler.
When you need to go around corners, although we offer a 90 degree fitting #13371, I recommend using two 45 degree fittings #13097 and three #13096 couplers (one between the 45's) for the best air flow.
Our 2-1/2" Y, blast gate and adapters all connect together to make up your system. 2-1/4" shop vacuum fittings push into the inside of many of these fittings allowing you to mix these two systems together. In fact, many people use a shop vacuum as their dust collector with these fittings.
