This is our mid-size dust hood. Dust collection is always a challenge behind miter saws, radial saws or where ever the dust is just thrown everywhere like behind a lathe. Directing the air draw from your dust collector in the correct general direction helps dust collection immensely and this hood does just that.
This hood is built extra heavy and the best part is the fastening holes are moulded in. It also has a plastic grill in the 4" connection area to prevent small blocks from being sucked through the collector's fan.
The frontal area is 13-1/2" x 7-1/4" and it's 6" front to back including the hose connection. You will find this a very handy hood in your shop.
