Stop the BANGING! This soft closing hinge, with cam adjust mounting plate, is for frame-less cabinets. It has a soft close feature built into the base of the hinge so the door comes slowly to a close without that annoying BANG when it contacts the cabinet.
Panel thickness doesn't matter for this hinge because of the inset design. It has an 1/8" adjustment range. See drawing below.
