These are full 1-1/4” diameter (Regulation Size) crokinole disc.
We've been asked if our discs are ”professional”. To make this claim, they would need to have an approval from an official gaming body. We have never approached anyone at this level but we can say that many thousands of our discs have found themselves in professional tournaments where there is much more on the line than just winning the game.
We can tell you a couple things about our discs. They are made exclusively for us to our specifications. We use hard maple, just like the original 100+ year old boards had used. Hard maple is the best wood for this type of playing piece because of the abuse they take smashing into the opponent's discs.
Finally, each piece is finished in a special spray tumbling technique. If you're into crokinole, you will love playing it with these discs.
