This is an excellent axe for engraving or carving your personalized message onto for gifting. Whether you use a rotary tool, hand chisels or laser engraver (like we do in store), the hickory handle is excellent for this purpose.
When looking for an axe to offer, we found this particular one has a more authentic shape head and handle than other models offered to us. If you were to see them side by side, you would agree. We believe if a project is worth doing, it's worth doing with good materials. This axe is worth it for a personalized project like we are talking about.
